While not a charity, the costs are very reasonable $10 to join, $10/month and they offer programming, jobsearch help, some counseling, and even a cup of Joe. | Is consulting in my future? |

I had an interesting conversation this morning with Mark a fellow FENG member. He works for what would be considered a small to mid tier consulting organization. We were introduced by my former boss Howard from DPSU (Cadbury Schweppes) and currently at Intuit.
It is interesting to find a lot of organizations look a person like me because of my supply chain skills even more so than my financial skills. I am told I was a strong operator, with good analytical skills and great people and leadership skills. (Of course they have been too kind.)
In the meantime, I am going to continue to pursue that as a potential opportunity along with other more traditional companies.
Companies of interest to me include: SWA (Southwest Airlines), Michaels Stores, McAfee, Rexel, Excel Logistics, Crossmark, McKesson, Kinko's, Pepsi/Frito, Yum Brands, Mary Kay, Beauticontrol, Zix, Stevens Transport, American Airlines, Zales, Friedman's Jewelers, Eurocopter, and more to come. |
