| Career Connection is a great career and job search group in the Dallas Metroplex area. They have helped tens of thousands of people over the years find themselves and the next career move. While not a charity, the costs are very reasonable $10 to join, $10/month and they offer programming, jobsearch help, some counseling, and even a cup of Joe. Yes he is a company flack, but he is a good kind of company flack.
(And no, I am not trying to suck up to him for a fee account, job, or even the latest phone, although I would accept all 3).

| Great Interview Today |
| Thursday, August 31, 2006 |

I had a great interview today with LSG Sky Chefs. I think this is an opportunity that plays to my strong suite of logistics/operations and finance combined.
I walked in to this one with the expectation that it was not going to be what I was really interested in, but as they described the problems and opportunities, I really got in to it. I have some really great ideas of how to proceed, pulling a lot of ideas from my past and applying it to this opportunity.
I know I was one of eight that they are talking to, some of which were internal candidates which in essence works against me, but I hope I impressed them to bring me back in the next step when they cull it down to two.
I did all of the things right as far as I could tell, but most important I was me.
I guess I learned something at Fish last week. I made the decision to be there and be there with the right attitude, to engage my client, to have some fun.
I've done my part on this one, now it is up to the powers above! Wish me well!! |

Fingers are crossed, Jim! Hey, if you made it to an interview and they had internal candidates, I think you're chances are better than average.
Thanks for keeping us updated!
